What I have learned
I began at Auburn University as a Biomedical Sciences major, where courses such as organic chemistry laboratory developed my attention to evidence, procedure, and detail. Transferring into Interdisciplinary Studies allowed me to keep that scientific foundation while adding business and leadership perspectives that better fit my strengths and career goals.
Across my artifacts, I can see that progression. The chromatography report represents my biomedical-science foundation and willingness to learn from an incomplete result. The CODIS presentation reflects collaborative research and preparation for an international experience in Iceland. Bridges Through Books shows me applying leadership concepts to a service project with partners, timelines, and measures of success.
My strongest contribution is connecting scientific understanding with organized, people-centered action.
How my experiences connect
Biology has developed my attention to evidence and scientific detail. Business helps me think about priorities, audiences, and outcomes. Leadership gives me a framework for communication, responsibility, and collaboration. My internship as an Administrative Client Account Coordinator at Inizio Engage gives me a professional pharmaceutical setting in which these habits matter every day.
Confidentiality is also part of that connection. Working in the pharmaceutical industry means understanding that trust, accuracy, compliance, and discretion are professional skills. I can tell the story of what I have learned without displaying information that does not belong to me.
Where I am going next
After graduation, I plan to become a pharmaceutical field sales representative. The career fits my interdisciplinary strengths: understanding scientific information, recognizing business goals, building professional relationships, and communicating value clearly and responsibly.
I will keep strengthening my product and disease-state knowledge, consultative communication, territory planning, and ability to listen to healthcare professionals. My goal is to be a representative who is prepared, trustworthy, responsive, and genuinely useful to the people I serve.
